White’s Heating & Cooling was first established in the late 60’s on Tuscarawas W, Canton, by Dick White, doing replacement, new construction and light commercial work.

In 1982, Dick brought in his son Scott to do the service and installation while he handled sales.

After Scott was brought in. Dick and Scott expanded more into the replace- ment market. Within two years, they expanded enough to bring in Scott’s brother Jeff and, among the three family members, handled the responsibility of phases of the industry. Within another 2 years they had to relocate to their present location of 1022 Wertz NW. By 1987 they added one more installer.

1988 one service man and in 1989 other installer. Presently, they are planning to purchase a third location for expansion.

Scott has some basic tips about air conditioning for homeowners. Make sure your filters are clean, motors are oiled and belts are okay. And wash out the condenser coil and get Freon checked every two years.
